How can I find the document I need?
You can go to document center and click on the most suitable document category and try find thedocument in that category. If you don’t find it from here, please use our search facility.
Do I need to register first to buy any document?
No, as you go through the motion of buying the document, you are asked to register as a process within the buying procedure. You do not have to register first.
Can I see / preview the document before I buy?
Many of our most popular documents can be viewed before purchase. However, not all documents are available for viewing for obvious reasons. Our introductory pages explain in detail what is provided in the document. You can contact our team at any time if you need to know more about a document.
If I buy a document, how will I get it?
We deliver documents and forms in two ways:
First, we send to you automatically, by email. Second, you can download from our website. This is usually necessary only some time after you have bought and deleted the original, or if you have accidentally changed the original and saved the changed version. Or if your mail server was down while our system tried to send the document to you.
Although we are not infallible, delivery problems are most often caused by an error in typing in your email address when you buy, (so that our system sends your document to an incorrect email address); or problems arising from your computer settings, which prevent your computer from receiving our document. If you have a problem we will always help you resolve it if we can.
To download, enter your email address and password at the top left of our home page and we will take you to your purchase history, from where you can download.
If I buy a document, how soon will I get it?
If you have entered the correct email address and your mail server is fast enough you should receive it almost instantly or within 10 minutes. However if you have a slow mail server (say hotmail) it may take hours. If you your mail server has a problem right at that moment, or your mail server has put a firewall in, or if you have entered the wrong email address, you may not receive it via email at all.
At any event you can download it directly from the Net Lawman site by simply logging to the site. You will be able to download it almost instantly (with a maximum delay of 10 minutes) after you have paid for it.

All Net Lawman documents are drawn by us and we own the copyright (jointly with Andrew Taylor, our director). Technically, when you buy a document, you are buying a licence under the terms we give you.Presently, you are free to use a Net Lawman as many times as you like for as long as you like, for the purposes of a single business.You may not sell our documents nor pass them on to any other person, nor use them for more than one business.We make an exception for solicitors, who may use documents as often as they wish.

Please explain why some documents are drawn by Net Lawman and some by other solicitors
First, so that we are able to stock the largest number of documents available on the Internet. A few documents must be drawn by lawyers with specialist knowledge. Our in-house team has much experience in a wide variety of specialism’s including intellectual property, land law and company law to name a few. However, there are some areas where we require specialists. By using other solicitors you can be sure that the document you receive has been drawn by someone who knows the law in that area inside out.
Second, legal documents take a long time to draw. The law changes frequently too. To stay up to date with those changes we must revise our documents from time to time. Our in house team simply doesn’t have enough hours in the day to do all of this and draw new documents.
If I buy a document drawn by some other solicitor, how shall I contact him/her?
We send you their details automatically after payment has been made. You can contact them at any time. You can also see their profile online from our website.
I am not happy for you to pass my email and land addresses to a solicitor. Help!
Whilst you receive the solicitor’s details automatically, they only receive your contact details if you give your permission during checkout. If you do not give your permission we shall never pass on your details.
Are the documents watertight? Do they stand up in a court of law?
Yes and yes, although the law does change – a document you buy today may be out of date next week.

My wife/husband has instructed a solicitor. Should I do the same?
Every case is different. We are unable to say whether instructing a solicitor is the right thing for you. It depends on your personal circumstances and also your finances. If you divorce is undefended (that is, if you both agree), it is unlikely you need a solicitor to represent you. You can manage your own divorce very easily these days, especially as there are so many outlets for legal information. We provide all the forms required for an undefended divorce at Net Lawman.
What will my divorce cost?
That depends how you go about it. If your divorce is defended, it is likely to be more complicated that if it were undefended. For undefended divorces, you set the budget. You can choose to instruct a solicitor, or you can manage the process yourself, with little or no help to minimise cost. We supply all the forms you require at Net Lawman. We supply the forms with completed examples and explanatory notes for use. If you want neither a DIY Divorce, nor to instruct a solicitor and receive a hefty bill, consider using our forms and paying for legal support as and when you require. We offer complete flexibility.
